Sunday Post #23

Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by the amazing Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It is a chance to share news, recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I love participating in Sunday Post because I can provide a recap of books I read, talk about what is coming up next week, and discuss any books I received in the past week!

This week I didn’t really get much on the book haul front, but I did get one from Netgalley and a couple eBooks!

—————————————————————————————————————————————————

This was another fun blogging week, but a bit of an up and down reading one. I loved Rogue and Daybreak, and I Hunt Killers was thrilling in its own way, but there were a few books I had been looking forward to that either I didn’t enjoy or were just alright. Still, I have plenty of books that I am excited to get to, so hopefully this next week will be a bit better!

Getting back to consistent posts has been a lot of fun for me, and it has kept me distracted from real life which has been a pain as of late. I’ve been working since May on jumping through all the hoops, but this week I found out I won’t be on campus for at least the first semester back at the University of Minnesota, and I might not be at all depending on a financial aid appeal. If that falls through things get ugly very quickly, but I’ll deal with that if/when it happens.

I don’t have set posts yet for this week, but hopefully I’ll be able to continue this run of daily (or nearly daily anyway) posts! I hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a great bookish week, and thanks for reading. Enjoy your Sunday!

  2. I got all three of the Jasper Dent series. I’ve already read I Hunt Killers and really enjoyed it. Can’ wait to see how the rest of the series goes. Sorry about the real life stuff. Hopefully your financial aid will come through. Good luck! Have a great week!

I have been thinking of dropping to six days a week. I actually wonder if anyone would notice. So don’t feel bad if you don’t post everyday; most people do not.

  5. I’m curious about I Hunt Killers. I’ve read some good things and it sounds like you enjoyed it as well. I hate when books I’m looking forward to let me down. I get nervous every time I pick up a book by an author I love because I’m afraid that this one won’t be as good. I guess it’s the not so great books that make the great ones really stand out though. Good luck with the financial aid appeal. That’s got to be stressful.
