Waiting on Wednesday #19

Waiting On Wednesday hosted by Breaking The Spine

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by the fantastic people over at Breaking The Spine that highlights upcoming releases that we are excited about.

For this week my pre-publication selection that I can’t wait for is:

The Invisible by Amelia Kahaney

Set For Release On: October 7th, 2014

The Invisible

Nope, I did not forget to include the summary for the book like I usually do, but nice job spotting the absence of one! I haven’t found a summary for the book anywhere (I checked the author’s websites, Amazon, and Goodreads), but what we do know is that this is the sequel to The Brokenhearted. That’s pretty much all I need to know to want the book since there is so much potential in this series.

I chose this book now, despite not having a summary, because the cover was just released and I do like it quite a bit. It’s pretty much the opposite of The Brokenhearted, being all shiny and bright and hopeful (even though the city below does look grim), but the feel is still there somewhat. Right now I just want it in my hands so I can continue the story, have that cover somewhere on my shelves, and October seems so far away!

What are your thoughts on The Invisible’s cover? Have you read The Brokenhearted, and if so are you excited for book 2 or is this not the series for you? What book are you “Waiting On”? Let me know in the comments and/or leave a link to your own WoW post and I will make sure to stop by! Thanks for checking out my Waiting On Wednesday! ^.^

  1. I haven’t finished the brokenhearted, just didn’t enthral me, you know? But this cover is pretty spectacular.

  2. I have a copy of The Brokenhearted here but I haven’t read it. I wanted to know what the sequel was about, but yeah, looks like there’s no summary for it yet. Great pick though! I like that cover!

  6. That cover does look pretty awesome. I still have the first on my wishlist so maybe by the time I read it this one will be out. I know it comes out in October, but I really have to read all of my own books first lol.
