Stacking The Shelves

A quick reminder that Stacking The Shelves is a wonderful way that we can share books we’ve won, bought, or been gifted in either printed or eBook form. It is a weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews that is generally posted on Saturdays.

As you can see it has been a crazy week for my little blog and book collection! I speak with Sarah-Jane Lehoux fairly regularly on twitter and when I tweeted out that I would do an honest review of a book in exchange for a free copy she generously offered not one but TWO of her amazing books, Thief and Shades of War. If you’ve read my other posts you’d know I already reviewed Thief and thought it was wonderful and Shades of War will, I’m sure, be just as fantastic. I received Space Battles through the same tweeting process from the kind folks at Flying Pen Press who gave me a whole list that I could choose from in exchange for an honest review and this is the first one I chose! I’m currently working on one of the freebies I listed above, Conner by Miranda Stork, but after that I’ll be working on my review of Space Battles.

I participate in a ridiculous amount of giveaways and thanks to some good fortune on my part I won a few this week! I already received 3/4 of the eBooks I won from Laurie’s Thoughts and Reviews blog which was participating in the Stuck in a Good Book Giveaway Hop. Those were Fatal Distraction, CIA Fall Guy and A Red Dead Oleander which I’ll read and possibly review though I haven’t decided that yet. I also won Demons by Heather Frost thanks to a giveaway by Book Haven Extraordinaire which I may or may not review as well.

    • If you didn’t know there is a free version of kindle you can download for your computer that allows you to read them straight from Amazon. That’s what I use. 🙂

  22. I actually really liked A Brightest Kind of Darkness. I reviewed it back when it first came out. I haven’t gotten a chance to read the sequel yet but I have it for review here somewhere. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
